2025 Public Shoot Schedule
In 2006 the Silver Spur Ranch constructed a 10 station sporting clays course for its guests. Over time the course has become popular with the local shotgun shooters of the valley. Since then, we have added 2 more stations, for a 100 round course.
This is a private course but available to the public by appointment. We offer sporting clay shooting the first Sunday of every month (May-Sept) from 9am-2pm for $45/person. This includes 100 clays on a 12 station course. Everyone is welcome. We also offer a skeet range with 25 clay rounds.
From beginner to advanced, just-for-fun to competition, our course is designed for shot gun shooters of all levels. We do have shotguns and ammunition available if needed.

REGISTER For SPorting clay competitions 6/28 & 8/2
Annually, the 4-H Foundation of Wyoming holds the “Platte River Shootout” at our facility; a fundraising event for the 4-H Foundation’s shooting sports program, consisting of a 2 day shooting event involving 120-150 shooters. BBQ’s, Calcutta’s, and a lot of clay shooting takes place during this event. We encourage any of our guests with interest in this event to get involved and support our local 4-H shooting sports program.
