Elk Hollow Lodge is located about a mile below the confluence of the North Platte and Encampment rivers. It is the ideal lodge for the fly fisherman who wants to escape the crowds and experience peace and solitude while fishing with us. Right out the front door our guests have private access to over 4 miles of the upper North Platte and Encampment Rivers, with both drift boat access and endless wade fishing opportunities.
Elk Hollow Lodge is not only a great place for our fishing clients, but also anyone who is coming to our beautiful valley and wants a stunning place to stay. It is a great setting for weddings, parties, family reunions, corporate retreats, fishing excursions, birding outings, photography opportunities, meetings, etc. The lodge is just minutes away from the wonders of the Snowy Range mountains, with its’ many lakes and mountain streams for fishing, numerous hiking trails, access to one of the 3 best snowmobiling destinations in the country, natural hot springs, museums, rodeos, and more.
