He Restores
My Soul
Let God restore your soul
through the Psalms.
Four of the greatest words in
the Bible are:
He restores my soul.
Pastoral ministry can be
highly rewarding. There is nothing like
the ministry of the church when it is
going well. But there is nothing like
the ministry of the church when it is
going poorly. Nothing is as personal,
stressful and challenging.
For two days in May,
right before summer kicks in, join the
other pastors of Next Generation
Churches for some soul restoration. We
will retreat to Silver Spur in Tuolumne
for some rest, encouragement, training
and prayer. Our speakers will include
some of our own pastors who are serving
as regional facilitators for our
network. Chris Losey (San Rafael), Fred
Hennes (Scotts Valley) and Brad Franklin
will walk us through Psalms 22-25
seeking the restoration that only God's
word can bring.
We'll also focus on
praying for one another, offering
coaching and workshops for pastoral
ministry, and encouraging one another as
leaders of Christ's church.
